Various video game news sites like Joystiq and Gamestop are now reporting that Microsoft’s latest console, the Xbox One will be region locked. This point is extremely important for gamers (like me) who live in third world countries. This is because, not only do we have to specifically choose which console to purchase, we’ll also have to pick which region it should be in.

What region should I get you in?

No word yet if region coding will be in effect for Sony’s PS4 console. Hopefully, they’ll also clear this up when E3 rolls along.
