Well, here’s my personal opinion on why Disney got James Gunn again.
DC and Warner Bros. are taking their DC Extended Universe down a familiar path of standalone films.
It may seem archaic but, right now, that seems like the best plan.
I talked about what Marvel did right. Now let’s go talk about what DC got wrong.
DC is giving up on making their films be placed in a “shared universe.” That’s the best thing they could’ve done!
